BREXIT & UK CUSTOMS CHARGES

  • Our warehuse is located in the EU, Berlin, Germany. All our orders at the moment get shipped from there.
  • As of 2020 with Brexit, The UK has left the EU, and trade between the parties has become much more complicated than we are used to it being. VAT and import charges at point of delivery are being added by Customs authorities on goods travelling in both directions. Upon delivery you will get charged these import charges by UK´s Customs authorities. Customs charges are not covered by us but by the end customer.
  • Goods worth £135 or less in total: If you bought the goods yourself and they are not excise goods, the seller will have included VAT in the total you paid.

  • Goods worth more than £135 in total: you will be asked to pay VAT at point of delivery

  • Follow this link for detailed infos

  • You will have to pay VAT to the delivery company either before the goods are delivered or when you collect them.

  • Please understand that these charges are beyond our control and are applied and billed by the UK State itself and are not billed by us.
  • You have the right to reject the charges and the parcel will get sent back to us. Refunds wont be possible until we receive the parcel back. In case of standard shipping postal service it might take up to 2 months.
  • If you have selected and paid for express shipping and then rejected the parcel, the refund will cover only the value of the item and not the shipping costs.
  • In case of rejected parcel please inform us by email as soon as you decline the parcel stating order number and the reason. Failure to do so will result in a 10£ restocking fee.
  • Unfortunately these new regulations also mean that sample designs are no longer available for photo shoot loans for UK stylists and photographers, due to the extra paperwork of sending and receiving the items back.
  • Our hope is that the trade relationship between the UK and the EU will get better and clearer over time, but as of 2024 this is where we are. We are truly sorry for how this affects our customers.
