    U.S. SHIPPING & RETURNS

    Do you ship from the USA? Yes. Selected pieces are shipped from our U.S. warehouse in New Jersey.

    What are the benefits for U.S. customers?

    • No customs duties – taxes are already covered.

    • Faster delivery times – compared to international shipping.

    • Free Standard Shipping - with U.S. ground services 

    • Local returns – simplified process within the U.S.

    How do I know if a piece ships from the U.S.?
    Look for the “US Stock” label on the product page. Only items marked as U.S. stock are shipped directly from New Jersey.

    What about items not in U.S. stock?
    They will continue to ship from our Berlin studio with duties prepaid (DDP), so you won’t face unexpected fees.

    What happens if I order items from both warehouses?
    If your order includes pieces from U.S. stock and from our Berlin studio, it will be split into two shipments:

    • The U.S. stock items ship quickly from New Jersey with free standard shipping or express shipping option of your choice.

    • The Berlin items ship separately with duties prepaid (DDP), but shipping from Berlin is not free and will be calculated at checkout.

    Return to our U.S. Warehouse (New Jersey)

    • Orders from our U.S. Stock may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

    • Items must be unworn, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.

    • Customers must contact us before returning to receive the correct return address.

    • Returns from U.S. orders can only be shipped back to our U.S. Warehouse.

    • A full refund will be issued for the product(s).

    • Return shipping costs are not covered by us.

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable. This includes free standard shipping (covered by us at the time of purchase) and any additional fees paid for Express Shipping. These amounts will be deducted from your refund. If items are not returned in intact condition or if the return request falls outside the 14-day window, we reserve the right to apply an additional restocking fee or deny the refund.

     

    Return to our Berlin Studio (International Shipping)

    • Orders fulfilled from Europe may also be returned within 14 days of delivery.

    • Items must be unworn, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.

    • Customers must contact us before returning to receive the correct return address.

    • Returns from European orders can only be shipped back to our Berlin Studio (they cannot be returned to the U.S. Warehouse).

    • Please note: 15% of the order value will be deducted from your refund to cover import duties and taxes prepaid by us (Delivery Duty Paid).

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping costs are not covered by us.

    • If items are not returned in intact condition or if the return request falls outside the 14-day window, we reserve the right to apply an additional restocking fee or deny the refund.

    Why a 15% fee applies

    Since August 29, 2025, the United States has eliminated the duty-free threshold (“de minimis”). This means all imports are subject to duties and taxes.
    When we ship from Europe, FINERBLACK prepays these charges on your behalf to ensure smooth delivery. Unfortunately, these costs cannot be recovered in case of a return. To partially cover them, a 15% deduction is applied to all refunds for orders shipped from Berlin.

     

    WORLDWIDE  SHIPPING & RETURNS

    How long does it take to process my order?

    Standard order processing time takes between 2 to 5 business days unless differently specified. 

    Some pieces might be "ready to ship" within the next business day or take longer (about 5 days) in the case of most complex custom designs.

    Products marked as "Pre-Order" will have a longer waiting time, specified in product description.

    Once your order has been processed, your item(s) will be shipped within 24 hours.
    Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

    Shipping rates are determined by weight and destination at point of purchase.
    All orders (domestic and international) are shipped via Deutsche Post, DHL, FEDEX or UPS by standard shipping or express shipping (depending on your choice during checkout)

    How do I track my parcel online?

    Upon shipment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your tracking number. For domestic and international orders, you can track your package at the courier´s website.
    Once your order has shipped from our store, please directly contact your courier with any inquiries about the status of your package

    Service Delays:

    FINERBLACK is not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances such as severe weather or natural disasters. Similarly, we are not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances related to the courier itself, such as clearance delays or strikes. In cases such as these, please directly contact your courier with any inquiries about the status of your package

    Where do you ship?

    FINERBLACK ships to all EU Countries, US, AUSTRALIA, ASIA  and much more.

    Will I have to pay customs charges at point of entry?

    As we ship from Berlin, Germany, if you are located outside the European Union, you might have to pay import customs charges & taxes to your Country´s customs upon delivery, depending to your Country´s regulations and laws. Each Country has a different threshold based on order value. If you want to find out the approximate amount please refer to your Country´s Customs official website. 

    IMPORTANT: Since Brexit, customs charges will be applied to the UK as well. 

     

    Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages

    In the case that the courier is unable to deliver a package due to an incorrect address entered by the customer, the customer’s refusal to pay duties, multiple failed attempts to reach the customer at point of delivery, or otherwise, FINERBLACK is not responsible for payment of return shipping costs levied by the courier. FINERBLACK is not responsible for the payment of re-shipping merchandise to the customer. In cases such as these, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned packages due to failed delivery.
